KNUST Lecturer, Dr. Daniel Owusu-Ansah, Appointed to Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame Advisory Council

Dr. Daniel Owusu-Ansah, a distinguished lecturer at the Department of History and Political Studies in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has been awarded a certificate recognizing his appointment to the prestigious Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame Advisory Council. The Council is an elite group of outstanding board chairpersons, seasoned CEOs, experienced non-executive directors, and retired/former board chairs who have made significant contributions to the corporate and institutional landscape in Ghana.

Dr. Owusu-Ansah is a renowned social and political historian with expertise in various areas of Ghanaian history. His research interests and expertise have led him to develop and teach several courses in the Department of History and Political Studies, including Introduction to Historical Studies, Contemporary Problems in African History, History of Ghana, Intellectual History, Research Methods in History, and Africa in the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries.

As a member of the Advisory Council, Dr. Owusu-Ansah will play a crucial role in shaping the direction and initiatives of the Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame. His responsibilities will include advising on capacity-building events, expertise and experience sharing, networking events, public policy advocacy initiatives, and the nature and scope of collective corporate social responsibility activities.

Dr. Owusu-Ansah's appointment to the Advisory Council is a testament to his extensive experience, leadership skills, and dedication to the academic and business communities in Ghana. His insights and guidance will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and development of the corporate sector in the country.

In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Owusu-Ansah is a member of the Historical Society of Ghana and the Ghana Studies Association. He is also a public intellectual and currently serves as the Chairman of the Governing Board of Directors for Ghana Publishing Company Limited.
