On Friday, October, 14 2022, a delegation from the OR Tambo Africa Research Chair Initiative, (ORTARChI) and the National Research Foundation (NRF), paid a courtesy call on Professor Charles Ofosu Marfo, the provost of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. The purpose of the visit was to discuss on how the school management could assist the ORTARChI Chair to admit International students to study at KNUST.

Present at the meeting were Dr. Nana Boadu, Promise Shabangu and Dorothy Ngila, of the National Research Foundation (NRF), South Africa, Mr. Cephas Agyei Mensah, a representative of the Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation and Professor Nathaniel Boso, Dean of the School of Business, KNUST. Also, there were representatives from the Office of Grants and Research, KNUST.
